The article presents information about the new book of first volume “Pomology”, prepared at VNIISPK with participation scientists from leading horticultural institutions Russia under general editorship Academician E.N. Sedov and reissued end 2020 financial support Russian Academy Sciences. edition “Apple” includes more than 200 cultivars included in State Register over past 15 years, 100 are excluded. structure is described, which there a substantial introductory part that tells history pomology as science, its tasks, stages formation who made greatest contribution to development. description scheme presented this built according single plan, allows compare test cultivars.
